These Lotus & Hope bikes are quite radical!

Not me; but pretty cool nonetheless. Frame material? I assume carbon. Will it it translate to road designs?

Well, these bikes didn't help the Great Britain track team and they underperformed in Tokyo ...

Tokyo 2020: 3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze
Rio 2016: 6 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze
London 2012: 7 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze
Beijing 2008: 7 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze
Athens 2004: 2 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze (those Olympics were worse)

Chris Hoy, Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas, Peter Kennaugh ... they had some serious squad in Beijing and London!

To be eligible for racing in the Olympics all bikes have to be commercial available on the open market. Any guesses for the Look/Hope bike... 5K?, 10K?... 25K!!

Wuuuuut, I somehow did not know such a fact and would have guessed 15k. The frame alone costs $21,500+tax (18,000 eur+tax or 15,550gbp+tax) and it's close to twofold for a full build. Time to sell my car ... both of them! Big Grin
