Star blubike lube
#1
Has anyone used this for pedals and/ or bottom bracket? Is it any good? I have sounds coming from pedals & BB.

This is an all-around bike lube and should work for BB & pedals too. I have never used one but can now remember that someone else had (and used) it on daily basis.

typically speaking, I would not use lube like that for a BB or pedals. for something like that, I would use a thicker actual grease. the thin stuff tends to wear away and dry out rather fast. that being said,, you could use that for the chain, or other moving parts.

Lube alone might not due the trick. The bottom bracket likely needs tightened.

If you can't do this yourself, you'll need to take it to you local bike shop.

If you do it yourself, try using teflon tape around the threads of the cup or bottom bracket cartridge. Wrap with the direction that threads screw in so it doesn't come undone when you screw it in. Remember that the right side has a left hand thread (unscrews to the right) and the left side has a right hand thread (unscrews to the left).

The opposite is true for pedals. The left pedal has a left hand thread. The right side has a right hand thread.

Thank you @ChaseCal @ReapThaWhirlwind @Jesper @G_M!
I will try to tighten the BB myself at first and will use grease instead of this STAR bluBIKE wonder.
