I am trying to determine if these rims can be used for a rim braking system. A set of used complete wheels with rotors installed that I would buy if compatible for rim brakes. I am building a Cascarsi cross frame that does not have mounting for disc calipers and I am not willing to modify it for disc use (I do not want to screw up a fine frame, nor do I need or care for discs due to simplicity/weight of a rim system). Images do not show rim in close of that area. Hoping that they may be designed and constructed for dual use; I doubt it, but I am unfamiliar with those rims. I realize that rims for rim braking are generally designed differently and are more reinforced in order to handle the force applied to the rim in that area. Are there any "dual" use rims out there, or are they all designed for either disc brakes or rim brake systems, but not for both.
Thank you for any information. I will do some research on them, but I thought I would check to see if anyone had that knowledge.
