Is Jamis Ventura Elite (2010) a good bike?

I can buy this bike in decent condition for about 350USD. Is this a good bike, and is it worth it? I am new to raod cycling by the way. Thinking of using it to commute to work mainly.

If it's still in a good condition, then sounds about right for $350. It has 7005 aluminium frame with carbon fork, meaning light, and Shimano Ultegra shifters - it's a groupset that's at the top of Shimano hierarchy. Nice bike and must have cost close to $2000 as new.
