No way back for Roglic now, he's finally in a very hot spot for overall win after that ITT.
I'm super happy for Gilbert, 37 and still winning. Roubaix was already quite smth, and now winning grand tour stage. Fun fact, it was exactly six full years yesterday since his last Vuelta win, 05th of September in 2013.

Slovenia, the small country with 2m population, dominating in yesterday's stage.
Roglič got another 27sec on Quintana and Valverde, full minute on Lopez. Safe to say this is over?

Sepp Kuss!! Something to celebrate for Americans, sweet solo effort Smile Stage victory in Vuelta for the second year in a row. King grabing those two W last year is still a mystery to me. Meanwhile only Valverde was able to follow the Slovenian.

Yeas, if nothing unusual happens, Roglic is taking it home.

Congrats! Since he was among heavy top favorites and hasn't showed that in GC standings, this stage win is a sweet consolation for Jakob Smile

Vuelta once more has proven to be the most unpredictable of Grand tours. Although the grand favorite most likely will succeed all the way this time, stage 17 gave quite the chills to everyone Smile Nairo cutting more than 5min on Roglic in a single stage! Just wow, Kingtana!

Is there still something that can be decided during Saturday's stage? 2:50 is a strong enough lead for GC. White jersey is still up for a 1on1 battle between Lopez and Pogacar.

Pogacar has been amazing this tour and this season in general -> one of the top outbreaks in 2019! Such a crazy stability if you look at his results with so many top10s.

In Vuelta three wins and eight top10 finishes and now he pushed QUINTANA out of the top three..

That guy is insane! Have you counted how many finishes outside-top-50 he has this season? I'll let you do the calculations Smile
