Froom is out (thank God that fall was not even more serious) of the race, so who's your bet? Will Thomas defend the title? First title for Colombians? Share your predictions below. I'lll reply in couple days, have to do tiny research.

- best sprinter (points classification)
- best young rider
- best climber (polka dot)

Here is my list and will be waiting for yours. Not sure who will lead INEOS as Thomas has been quiet while the young Colombian can strike strongly but his experience is questionable.

Top three general -> 1. Bernal 2. Pinot 3. Fuglsang
Sprinter jersey -> Sagan
White jersey -> Bernal
KOM -> Landa

Unfortunately he's on obvious decline right now, plus the virus didn't do any favour. Last victory: February 2018 in Dubai (2. HC cat.) ... I still hope that he hasn't said his last word at TdF.

Ahh, almost forgot. In GC it will depend on who has the better legs between Thomas & Bernal, within the first week. I would bet on Thomas and back-to-back victory, but let's see. Pinot, Quintana & Bardet could all sneak in between them and be a solid contenders.

Seems like green jersey unanimously goes to Sagan, while Bernal takes white on, but polka dot ... will choose the local, Alaphilippe.

it's just the beginning, green jersey all the way!

Yesterday was a fun uphill finish stage and we could already see some Thomas/Bernal interaction there. Alaphilippe looks solid!

Alaphilippe taking over the yellow jersey. Is he the dark horse GC contender or just kicking those stages and gathering points? Definitely the latter for me, but not sure what the others think?

Yeam, it's very unlikely. We'll see if he can keep it until the Pau ITT

This didn't happen today though, very impressed by the yet another cyclo-cross star - outsprinted all the top guns including Viviani. But it was a super tight finish. Great decision of Jumbo to take van Aert to the Tour.

How about Thomas + Bernal opening that -1.40 gap against Fuglsang, Pinot, Porte and other on such supposedly relaxing pre rest day?
