Max security bike lock
#1
hello, looking for safe bike lock for my fixie, for busy city like use.
i've been using a medium-security Abus for the past years, but with stories of my friends bikies being stolen in the recent couple weeks I'm becoming more and more cautious.

so I need advice on buying high-security lock - what do you suggest for urban biking?
i'd prefer something that is not too heavy, so no chains I suppose.
Kryptonite is of course the first name that pops up, but perhaps there are very solid folding locks as well?
also, which of the Kryptonite's locks would you put on the podium?

Exactly my first choice is Kryptonite -> I currently use Fahgettaboudit Mini for city use and it keeps my mind calm with the 10/10 security rating but you might want to add some extra cable for wheels depending on how long and where you want to lock the bike.

Abus locks are reliable as well, I've been using them for years. Currently have this Granit x Plus 6500 with security level of 15. Here's a simple video about Abus bike locks and how to select suitable security level. Hope it helps.

thanks for the tips, guys!
@"Sagan97" ... nice lock, you frankly made me think more about the folding locks, they go along with my style and fixie culture I believe.
