I'll try to revive this section with hot topiccc that attracts most of the pro cycling fans.

Is not the first case with disc brake rotors causing injuries. What are your opinion? Should disc brakes stay out of competitive road cycling? Are all these accusations nonsens? Is it even rotor that caused the injury?

I feel that in a group ride sharp braking can be more dangerous and cause panic or crash for others around. But is the disc really at fault with this guy's cut? Are there others who have suffered from disc brakes with cuts like this or injuries?
