New shifters on old front derailleur
#1
I just put new shifters on my old mountain bike. The back shifts great. The front goes from small to middle fine but going from middle to big seems to require a lot of extra force and clicking down from big to the middle is sharp and much quicker than on my other bike (with the same shifters). The shifters are shimano ST-EF50 and the FD is an old Shimano STX triple. Any ideas people?

Have you tried setting up the front derailleur as described in <a href="http://bikeride.com/adjust-front-derailer/">this video</a>?
