Paint or not to paint the frame

My name is Chris, I am from Teneesse, Nashvile.
I have old bike. Now I have time to do something with it. The first thing I want to do is to repaint the frame. Is it possible? What paint is better? I had an idea to go to the car painting workshop, but I can not afford much now.

lets see what you have to work with. Post good clear pics of overall condition. How much are you willing to spend? That would help advise you better.

Don't paint - study how to paint a bike frame, and then discover it is much cheaper to pay someone else $200- to paint it.
