I don't know much about bikes but I think this one looks and rides wicked! Does anyone have any pro tips for maintaining these? I'm new to bicycle repair but am looking to dabble.

That is one heck of a bike! looks like a carbon vita. hard to tell from the pics. I would like to see more close up shots if it. they use the Roubiax/Ruby frames for those I think. depending on the component level, taking a guess that yours is Shimano105. The bike was well over $2000 new more than likely. (worth noting for your insurance company). No special needs, just maintain by keeping lubed and cleaned once in awhile. check the wheels for true now and again. If you got that given to you, wow, a flatbar road bike most could only dream about owning. Bring on more pics!

Nice ride you have there. My advice would be to get a older bike (maybe you already have one) to practice on.
For bikes you need some specialized tools used for accessing the wheel bearing, botton brackets bearings, head sets bearings etc. This web site sells a good training course for $60 or so (2 CD's of instruction). There are also a lot of youtube video's for free out there. If the bike is running good I would just leave it alone and ride it.
