What upgrades would improve the performance if this bike?

this Nakamura Royal mens bike seems like a decent 21" frame aluminum bike for the price but I suspect it has some lightweight parts that could be replaced? any one have any advice on this?

the reason I ask is you see these 6061 aluminum bike frames selling for $300 all by themselves.
