Just another one of my favorite Pieces from when you could get a full Groupo and not a hodge podge of components to save money. Full MountainLx groupset. Its about time to give her some love, got this from a1 owner,(female owner) and the bike was never used for off-roading, does have some chips to repair but it has been just hanging around for 20yrs or so and its time to find it a good home. I always loved these bikes, great riding and do last forever. Well nuff said, time for the "Fluff and Buff"

Thanks Bill, I think it will come out pretty nice, I may have to reproduce the decal on the seatube, looks like it had been over clamped in a stand at one time. The seat was lycra covered and dilapidated but I had a Nos Bontrager to toss on it, the original tires were full tread but the gumwalls shot, But everything else is original and usable. the rims are awesome and will sparkle like new. The chain was rusted and locked up, the rear cluster, probably an Hg-70 is in perfect condition. So other than some cHip repair and bearing service, fluff and buff, cables and housing, she will be pretty sweet again. I go look at bikes all the time that are described as "excellent" that are no way near as nice as this is right now. People kill me sometimes. Now if I could just find the time to do it up. Never have time for my own stuff. I tossed it craigslist for now until I get time for it. If it goes it goes If not thats fine too. There will always be another rainy day! right? Smile

I herd that! I know what you mean about not havin time for your own stuff. I have a full house of women and there just always seems to be something else to do!!!LOL It is myself and 4 women from 2.5yo to 56 yo! But I love em all! Not as worried about working on the bikes now with my current injuries. Can't use em for another 4 weeks at least so whatever! Good luck finding her a new home!
