4130 chrome-molybdenum (cro-mo, cr-mo) frame, seat post is 20” c-t, top tube is 22” c-c, 17½” chain stays, serial#: GZ657040. The Schwinn Sierra was offered in black chrome finish in 1986 and 1987 only. This bike has some rust spots and could do with a tune up, but it is currently ride able. It has a six speed freewheel; for 18 speed total. It would make a great touring or commuter bike.

The Schwinn Sierra was made by Giant in Taiwan. It is basically the same bike as the Giant Iguana of the same vintage. These are good solid bikes.
