Help Identifying old Specialized StumpJumper

Hey all, any help on identifying the year of this Stumpjumper?

would like to see some pics of the canti's, the shifters, derailleurs and the stumpjumper emblem.
the 80's stumpy's were lugged frame I think the first yr was 81 and it was welded

Thank you kindly for the info, the stumpjumper logo has worn away with age, it was though blue letters red outlining. Sugino crank and Shimano shifters/derailleurs. I included some more photos. Thank you again friend, safe riding.

well without the actual model #s of the components and better pics of the rear derailuer. By looking at the construction of the cable bosses and no lugs on the frame, It would be a 1981. sorry no more help so far. try to find the #s on the crank and rear derailluer if you can. it looks like very Ritchey like angles and style but hard to tell from the pics.

No need to be sorry my friend, you have helped me a ton! I thank you very much. I found a serial number under the crank well on the frame 0p7s6325. Not sure if that has any indication. I got a picture of the rear derailleur and the inside of the crank. You have helped me a lot to narrow it down though, and I appreciate your time.

6 speed supports early in the '80's also.

f I remember correctly, serial #s for specialized do not date the bike, your best bet is to research the frame aspects and components and to try and find archived info, try digging around on the bike forums site too
