#1
I have a Origin 8 Adrenaline frame - Info on the frame: 65mm BB Drop?. I bought SRAM red components. SRAM Red carbon TT crankset 130bcd BB30. I'm completely new to bike building. I want to get all the parts together. not sure exactly what BB I need. BB30 but, not sure of sizing. Thanks for your help!

Bottom bracket drop is only the relationship of certain axis aspects of the bike, do not worry about this, but to read a bit about it and save me typing check out this link below. roll with the bb30 for your crankset, it will fit both standard shell width's

As you have already purchased your frame it does not matter as far as consideration for purchase. this link shows you what they mean buy drop

I shouldn't have thrown in the 65 mm drop in there. My question is what BB30 do I need? I'm fairly certain it is a 68 mm English. Can someone point me to a specific BB that I can purchase for this combo? I google bb30 - wow! is all I can say..
For example: This one: http://www.competitivecyclist.com/sram-pf30-bottom-bracket
or this one: http://www.competitivecyclist.com/sram-pf30-ceramic-bottom-bracket.
Obviously one is ceramic the other is not, hence higher price. I could place either one on my bike and it would fit my combo frame/ crankset? Seller means nothing to me, just need to make sure that this is what I need.

either will work fine, the question would be if your frame is a press fit bb30 compatible frame

Thanks Joe - good reading. Unfortunately I got bad advice about the BB or no advice at all. According to the frame pic it is English BB. The Crank was a BB30/PF30, wrong combo all together. I needed a GXP crank for compatibility. I went to another website to find out.
