I have a 6speed autobike classic. the problem is when i stop and start to pedal again the chain slips behind the gears. when I'm going downhill or fast it changes properly but otherwise won't stay on the gears what can i do to fix this? Please help enclosed is a pic

cannot tell from the pic but on the rear derailleur you should have a couple screws signified by an "H" and an "L". your L screw needs turn in to stop the derailleur from moving to far inward. the pulley needs to be directly under the big cog. turn about 1/4 turn increments til desired results

If you feel stupid twice, does that make you a re-tard?

I stumbled on this thread after buying my son a used Autobike Classic, which I knew nothing about and he had the same issue. This information helped us fix it. I ended up having to put a longer screw in place of the "L" screw and then make adjustments to both. Here's a detailed photo in hope that it helps anyone who stumbles on this thread in the future.
