Rear shock question

am just now getting back into biking. i have a mongoose xr-250 is there any shock on the market that i can use to replace it.

Picture of it would help out immensely, Most of the mongoose suspension shocks are interchangeable. Look around on trash day for used frame, do note you will be competing with the junking scavenger crows. Or go to ebay type in "rear suspension shock". Measure how long it is for reference.
