Gear shifter problem
#1
Hi, I made the mistake of taking apart my sram shifter to change the cable and now realize I did not need to. Problem = a small black piece of plastic came out and I'm not sure where it should go and things are not right. The small bit of metal is in place ok. Can anybody help please or is it best just to buy new shifters. I still have the bit of plastic. Many thanks. Robbie

Hard to help without photos or more detail.<br />
Try going here to see if there is a service manual for your shifters. They usually have good pictures to show you where the parts go.
