Free 1985 trek 660

hey guys,
i am just getting back into riding. i am in college and i have looked around for a commuter for awhile now. i have never had a road bike. only department store mountain bikes. a friend just gave me a bike last night. i could tell it was an older road bike, but when it came out it must have been pretty nice. it is in good condish. is there any info you guys have on it?
