Derallieur wants to be changed

Hey,
i have a shimano tourney tx31 on my cycle. is it okay to change it to a shimano tourney tx50 or tx55

Should be OK, why do you need to change it, is the previous one broken?

yep,
a metal covering wich covers the pulley got stuck on the spokes and got bend Sad rlly bad

In that case, no problem, in fact you can use pretty much any Shimano mech/derailleur with Shimano shifters because it's the shifter that determines the gear indexing and not the mech.

When you get the new derailleur, make sure to adjust the limit screws correctly to stop it going to far in on the lowest gear, biggest sprocket, that should stop it going into the spokes, or too far out on the highest gear, smallest sprocket.

Check the alignment of the dérailleur hanger. This (probably) needs to be fixed! Depending on the damage it took, the frame might be done for, though.
