Take a look at the bike I saw today at my LBS. It is in for a tune up after sitting in a basement since the 90's. The seat is supported by straps from the nose to the head tube and the silver rear most stays actually flex in and out to give the bike suspension. First time I've seen anything like it.

Ride on, keep on riding
Riding on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on
Ride on, gonna have myself a good time - AC/DC
Whoa that's kind of cool
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
Here is another unique design. I have been told that one like it holds a speed record.

barefooter and all - do a search for 'Dursley Pedersen' and see if it doesn't look familiar!

Hey George! When one works on bicycles, one tends to see many strange things.
I've only seen one of these in the past 20+ years and it was in a much worse condition than the pic Barefooter posted. That is a true Collectible if you ask me.
I did spend FOUR DAYS on the Internet trying to find out what I had in my shop back in 1997. Lucky, I guess, that I saved that in my head. It was way too cool and I studied it pretty hard. Good design for 1910.. would you agree?

Yes definitely out of the box thinking, compared to the clunky heavy designs of 1900. Although it looks like a flexebike with lots of energy lost.
