I had one of these but really never needed it because I have a vast shop full of Bicycle Tools. Anything Park Tool makes is top of the line.

this tool needs to be used with great care, it is very easy to strip the thread in an alloy crank arm. Make sure the thread in the arm is clean and undamaged, oil before use and engage tool thread tightly and to the full depth in the arm before attempting removal.
Cranks with damaged threads usually have be knocked off from the back using a hammer and a long bar.
