Replacement crank arm question
#1
Hi guys, first time poster

Scenario: On tropical island with specialized mtn bike hardrock, pedal stripped left crank arm. I am looking to ship down replacement crank arm with tools needed to replace it. Shipping is a big deal and takes about 2 weeks so id like to nail this on the first try. Currently, my left pedal is welded to the crank arm!

Facts: Crank set is Sr Suntour octalink, spline
BB : Shimano BB-ES25, Octalink spline, cartridge bearing, 68mm x 118mm
(per specialized website specs).

Question: I am having trouble finding a replacement left crank arm, the closest one i could find is Sunlite Replacement Left Crank Arm for Octalink SP, 175mm, Black Now, i am unsure on whether or not my current crank arm is 175mm, is that a standard size for specialized mtn bikes? (size 21 if that matters), and I dont know what "SP" stands for??? Also i am guessing i just need an octalink extractor wrench (i already have the 8mm hex), any other tools needed? Any suggestions, clarifications are greatly appreciated.

You need a tool like this:

with respect to length, do you have a ruler or tape measure?
