Schwinn Varsity
#1
Hi
well have a vintage mens full size 1972-74 Varsity
27" chrome metal rims big thumb wingnuts front
10 speed shifts ok
brakes ok
original tires tubes (front tire tossed it.. rotted) back holds air
Canary Yellow
chrome stem handle bars (metal not aluminum) yellow tape still on
only issue I see after got it up and running is chain ring chrome guard has bent ..not bad but visible
some rust on stem and bars but this one a good restore candidate for the so inclined...
well I got it free and will never use it ..too heavy for commuter trains I travel on..on/off all the time...
will ship at cost and do PayPal or Postal Money Order ships prepaid ..
I have been fortunate to find many bikes ..so this is free to whomever wants it ..too much all together to part out but will if no takers..located in CT 50 miles from NYC ..live in Mass myself..in a garage there..local pickup welcome of course ..shipping is actual cost I will have fun learning how to ship a bicycle properly and have read up on it ..bike is heavy though ..
about it Thanks

Schwinn Continental next step up had aluminum bars
Varsity has steel and chrome over..
all parts generally fit and on eBay all time..
This is a mens bike full size 27" rims ..
Hope that answers your question
