Hybrid bike tire change from 700 X 35 to 700 X 28
#1
I have a Trek 7300 hybrid with 700 X 35 tires. I want to go faster. Going to a road tire like 700 X 28 will enable me to do that. The new tires will require new rims right? What is involved mechanically for the change over?

You may find that 700c x 28 will fit your rims.
See Sheldon Browns for tire / rim sizing.<br />
It shows how to measure rims and the range of tires to suit.
