I got this bike for a hundred bucks off of craigslist. I put new brake levers, bar ends, and tires on it. It's a 14 speed all shimano.

Nice Bike! Good shape too. Smile

One of mine is a 1985 World (without the "Sport") so I am familiar with those. Right now it is pieces while I paint it and refurb it.

Thanks,
Steve

Haha, I just got those shifters. They were like 50 something bucks from JensonUSA.com. It came with plastic downtube shifters and I broke one of them so I figured I'd try out some bar ends. I like them better so far.

You rock and passed the test! Smile As much as I appreciate the new SIS STI ZYX stuff, I love barend shifters. I am a old fart at 45. Sad

Very nice!! I'm jealous... nothing like that ever seems to come my way. Every time I find a good deal like that it's usually gone by the time I see it.

Such a bike would surely be very valuable climbing the hills of Lisbon where cars get often stuck in traffic Big Grin And it must scream down the road.
