How do i remove cable from lever?
#1
I want to leave the lever on but replace the cable. How do I detach the little nut at the end of the cable from the lever?

I'm guessing brake cables? Anyways you give the cable enough slack so you can pull the lever back to the bars without it immediately slamming back. There should be a hole on the bottom of the lever where the nipple is, you should just be able to slide it out and remove the cable.

Have a look through these tutorials.:

There may be something there to help?
