Front derailleur
#1
I have a shimano components and when I am in my largest gear in the rear and try to shift to the middle gear in the front (it is a triple in the front) the chain misses the middle gear and goes to the smallest gear. What adjustments do I need to do to correct this?

Thank you for you help

Do you know which model your Shimano gears are, there are quite a few, and are your gears indexed or friction shift?

In the meantime, this might help: http://bikeride.com/adjust-front-derailer

not sure but i think you should tighten the low adjustment screw clockwise (1/2 turn)

Tighten the cable adjuster a bit and see if that cures your problem.
The H & L screws are only for stopping the chain overshooting the big and small rings - not the middle.
