Can the hollow pins be pushed out same as the solid pins?

Yes. I have a SRAM PC-1070. Chain broke on a ride, and another rider used a chain tool to fuse two links together. Bike store then put on another removable link for me post ride.

This is good info to know. I personally have not seen nor worked on the hollow pins yet. Thanks for sharing.
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
