I'm having a problem with some of my tubes. For some reason, I'm getting a weird yellow substance that is formed within the tube (I assume) and its ruining the tubes. I've had this happen now to two tubes and can't figure out the problem or what to do about it. Anyone know anything about this?
Is there something in your pump, or have you been using any liquid puncture prevention/repair substances?
No, I haven't used any sort of puncture repair substance. I just replaced my pump, but one of the tubes that I had the problem with was only pumped with my new pump... and its a good specialized pump. I can't figure it out. The tubes are specialized... any chance the tube is defective and I got unlucky with several in a row?

Hmm, easy way to test the pump is to get one of those needle adapters (may have come with your pump) and get one of those kids balls that are clear. Pump it up and see if the same stuff goes inside the the ball. As far as tubes I guess it could be possible that the manufacturer put the wrong tubes in the wrong box??
Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
Well, I really don't think its the pump bc I pump my TT aero wheels with the same pump and I have had no problem with those.
In what way are the tubes ruined? Can you post a picture of the substance? I'm not sure I really want to see it, but it may help identify it. :)
