Music to Ride By

Does anyone know where you can purchase some sort of music playing apparatus for bicycling that does NOT require ear plugs??

Have used "ipod" but can not ride comfortably with the ear plugs in place!

Also prefer some sort of portable CD/cassette player over the "i-pod".

Would like to be able to mount the components on the bike with little effort.

Thank you, Alisa

That used to be common back in the fifties through seventies. Here's a photo of a Sears model. Even has a "convenient" handle.

Picked up excellent musical setup for riding from a friend.

Mounts plate permanently to handlebars and mounts any player to that plate with velcro. Cassette, Ipod, or CD, and no skipping on CD player!

Have a small handlebar bag for carrying all the pieces!

Have photos below here! The speaker stays in the same position at all times, regardless of player option! Can be made removable also, but not necessary.

I have to admit that I usually get ticked off by those guys riding around on forest paths and through the fields with their stereo blaring. There is so much to listen to, the birds, the wind, the different rolling sounds of the wheels...

Joe, can appreciate that fact, but the players above are not that loud even when on full volume!

They are actually quite comfortable to listen to. Also in my area there are no fields or forest paths, only neighbors. Strictly residential!

Prefer the music over the neighbor's (talking)!! (jk)
