Lost adjustment screw for front derailleur
#1
I was outside working on my bicycle and when it got to be dark I began packing up, only to realize that one of the adjustment screws were missing on my front derailleur. My question is, if I found a screw of the same size, will it work without having the spring? I'm not sure of the brand at the moment, if that matters.

thanks for the help

I'd check the hardware store. I think derailleur screws are m4's or m3's. Also check with your LBS. They might have some broken ones that you could take the screw off of.
