Hi everyone,
I'm trying to remove this cassette for some much need cleaning, regrease the bearings, etc, and just because I want to. Which lock ring tool will remove this? It's not a shimano cassette, it says ''Tracer" on it. It is on a Jamis Explorer SX, probably 2002 model, 7sp cassette.
Thanks in advance.
Zach
Ok I "think" I found your "type" of freewheel. Click here and look just above "Older Cassette Hubs".

What they are saying is the the Lockring does not have to be removed in order to take off your freewheel. I am going to make a guess that you need a FR-1 from them. Before you purchase one do me a small favor and see if there is any printing on the plastic chain guard behind your freewheel please. Let me know.

P.s. Just for your own information here is a link with your model of bike with some info...

Good maintenance to your Bike, can make it like the wheels are, true and smooth!
Ok that sux that it is a Yung Fang Co spoke guard, some are shimano which would tell me a little more where to look. These kinds of bikes are put together with one thing in mind cost of assembly/parts low while try to sell as many as possible.
Is there anyway you can take a side snapshot of the cogs?
