Made a batch of my custom hot & spicy homemade chicken burrito mix the other day, and I've been macking big ol' burrito plates ever since, lol. I'm a fool for homemade chicken burritos, but I rationalize this weakness by telling folks it's cheaper than crack or heroin, lol. Check out the primo burrito mix!
I routinely use the tall pot for cooking the mix (better for stirring), while the shorter pot with the glass lid is for temporary fridge storage! My kitchen still needs to be painted, but it's clean enough for my purposes! Functional too, with the new range, toaster oven, microwave (behind camera), etc.
I was hungry last night, so I made a "double plate!" TWO big ol' chicken burritos (cheese inside tortilla), topped with avocado, sour cream & hot sauce, lol. Check this plate, those burritos were AWESOME with hot Hatch Chiles in the mix! Not stupid hot, but hot enough for you to break a slight sweat while eating, lol.
And another look at that bad boy burrito plate, lol... made a bit of a mess on the tray, but I had the foresight to throw down a sheet of wax paper and a paper towel, so no worries, the cleanup was minor. Drank a cold root beer with my meal, that's my favorite drink when I eat burgers or burritos! CHEERS!!!
As an aside, here are pics of my weed plants... the ones which survived the deer & grasshoppers, that is, lol. I'm only growing weed to make salve for my aches & pains, I'm no pothead, but I'll probably sample some bud in my glass bong, which is usually reserved for guests! These particular seeds were given to me by my former neighbor in Alamo, his friends operate a cannabis nursery up near Cloudcroft, go figure. Hey, free seeds, why NOT germinate 'em and put 'em in the ground? Gotta amend the soil first, that's mandatory in New Mexico!
