What was your favourite bicycle?
#1
Over the years I've lost count of how many bicycles I've had. I'm guessing around 20 or so.

This got me thinking of all the bikes I've had going back to my Benny when I was about 7yo what has been my favourite.

After a lot of thought mine is my Giant Reign which I've still got!

We've been through many hard and great times and is now affectionately know as "The Beast" Smile

I love all of them because I love to travel with my bike. I also started to make my website where I put pictures and videos of the different places I have been to. Feel free to explore my website at [https://cyclingodyssey.wixsite.com/bestcyclingtours]. I hope you find it interesting.

Thanks for that.

Of those bikes, does ONE just stand out?

Like difficult to get rid of?

Hey @Anton Lee

I'm curious: was there something specific you liked about your Trek Fuel?

I'm a roadie now but I still frequently look back and reminisce on my aggressive hardtail, it was a Marin Nailtrail 7, I conquered a lot of trails and climbs using that bike and until today, there's really something special about your first real properly spec-ed bike, that jump from cheap components to the real stuff and the first ride on it will always have a special place in my heart

The favorite bike I've owned is still in my collection. It's a mint condition custom-built Roberts frame in Columbus EL-OS with the characteristic fillet brazing. I built it up with a mix of (roughly) period-correct premium Shimano components. It's light and responsive to ride, and a joy to behold.

My fatbike, MotaaCycle is my favourite. That's because it handles all kinds of terrains ( gravel, mountain, and road) and distances (long-distance bikepacking and short-commutes). And, it has taught me so much..

What I liked about it was all of the listed good things that a recumbent bike affords. Plus, the handlebars were super adjustable, and over all the bike was extremely reliable.
