Welcome Lss555, I am new to BikeRide as well but have been riding all my life. Currently riding a fat-bike through the mountains of Ecuador on dirt, gravel, sandy and wet roads. I have a bikepacking setup, which makes it easier to navigate some of the sticky situations than a touring setup. I rode a route called Trans Ecuador Mountain Bike Route (TEMBR)..it was hard but a lot of fun. And, I won't go back to paved roads anymore..:-) Do let me know if you're able have any questions about some bikepacking routed, suggestions within US. Below is my blog incase you want the get a taste of it..
