BMX Project - Crankset/Bottom Bracket
#1
Ok I already got the answer of the chainring. My next question is if anyone heard of replacing a one piece crank with a sealed bearing kit that replaces the old style one piece cranks with the caged bearings. I know the bearing cups (races) would have to removed from the bottom bracket, but what I need to know is what I am looking for to put in its place.

Yes exactly the idea I am looking for! The only problem with the ones you use as an example is they are threaded. UPDATE: If memory serves me correctly I believe it is much more simpler like a couple cones, two sealed bearings, and spacers? A kid was trying to explain this in his own terms this morning and lol as peaked as my curiosity was, his terminology did not match up to ours. He called it a Mid kit? Not sure but wouldn't the one shown you show be better then this Mid-Kit?
