Vintage leather saddle care
#1
I have an old Brooks saddle (Professional if I am correct) on the vintage road bike that I inherited this spring.
It is still in solid condition, and it would be a crime to not take care of it.
Do you have any advice on maintenance of such vintage leather saddles? Any tips & tricks?

Proofide- a specific ointment made of calf fat for such saddles. There is a small jar of it, but if you use it once a month,it serves you at least 10 years.

Thank you for the good tip!

I have not had much spare hobby time this fall, it means that the old roadie has not received the attention it deserves. Nonetheless during the winter I will take care of the saddle and other vintage components.
