We see a lot of mountain bikers lining up at BWR events, and it makes sense.
While this isn’t a pure MTB race, the terrain: technical dirt, rugged climbs, loose descents, and the occasional “how is this a road?” section feels very familiar to anyone who spends time on singletrack.
Especially in places like Utah and Montana, the riding rewards handling skills, pacing, and comfort on unpredictable surfaces.
Any MTB folks here crossing over to gravel or Unroad events?
What setup are you running and what terrain gives you the most trouble?
