As we celebrate the holidays, shop on Cyber Monday, and give on “Giving Tuesday,” I wanted to share the work of Emily, a fellow cyclist I met in Nepal’s Himalayas.

Disclaimer: She did not ask me to write this. I’ve simply seen her passion firsthand. I met her in a tiny village called Bhraka, Annapurna region of Nepal volunteering at the primary school—teaching English, coaching soccer, and still running her online classes for students in China and Vietnam.
Emily Hulbert is an Australian who's been cycling for some 3-5 years now with hopes to reach England and meet her grand arents.
Along the way, she's been raising funds to donate Sawyer water filters, water bottles and toys to far away communities and schools.
I spent nearly two weeks in this part of the Annapurna Circuit and was genuinely inspired by her work.
So, if you’re able to support her mission this holiday season, please do. I’ll be supporting her and trying to emulate her in my own small way.
