Motivation. Inner strength. Resilience. The Push. What keeps you going? Great inspirational short shot in beautiful BC - this one has been a go to for me.

Dear BC Rainforest, thanks for sharing the YouTube link. Unfortunately, YouTube is banned in Nepal right now, so unable to watch your link.

I am into my 12th month of bikepacking, so I often find myself reflecting on motivation.

Inner Strength: For me, it grows from facing adversity and navigating tough, unforgiving terrain day after day. Nepal and the Himalayas have a lot of that and it's a great way to develop Inner strength.

Resilience: I’m inspired by the locals—whether in South America or here in Nepal—whose resilience shines through in everyday life.

The Push: That’s the hardest part for me. I often linger, caught by the beauty of a village, a landscape, or the people, and struggle to move on.

What Keeps Me Going: Usually, it’s a deadline or the pull of the next challenge is what keeps me going.

Great question!

I 90% mountain bike,

For me, it's being out in Nature, with friends, birds, wildlife, forestry, no distractions on my bike (where I feel most at home), and just having random fun!

We only get one shot at this life, so do what you love as often as you can! Smile

@GirishH I saw some wild political protests happening in Nepal right now I hope you are ok there!

also just the joy you feel when you feel the wind in your hair while riding your bike is the one that keeps me motivated to ride, there is always a rush of joy that flows every time I set out to ride

Sadly, Nepal’s big cities saw heavy protests and violence, but things seem to have cooled down now. Up here in the mountains, it’s been very calm. The joy you mention must be from happy hormones—or adrenaline, right?
