Remedies for contaminated disc rotors
#1
Hi! What are your typical brake pad/rotor contamination remedies? Without knowing what the contaminant is—liquid, WD-40, etc.—my mountain bike makes squeaking sounds when I brake harder. The pads are relatively new, and both rotors are still fine. I feel there has been some contamination, but I have no idea when it happened or what caused it.

clean both the pads and the rotors using regular bike degreaser products
