There are so many awesome biking spots out there. To help narrow it down, it would be helpful to know your general location. Different areas offer unique biking experiences, from scenic mountain trails to peaceful coastal paths.

I once dropped by a shop for a small repair and ran into a cyclist who asked if I'd visited the nearby mountain top and trails. Not only did we ride to those places and more, but I was/am also lucky to stay with his family. As a member of the local tribe and a fellow avid cyclist, he showed me hidden spots I doubt Strava, Google Maps, or any online search could have guided me to.

So, along with Komoot and Strava, make sure to connect with the locals.

Here's a picture of my friend and me at a nearby winery deep in the woods. We had to wade through a fresh sand slide—sinking at least 4-6 inches in places.

What an adventure and unforgettable experience!
