I’m 5’6 average size athletic woman looking for a quality lightweight (under 45 lbs) ebike mainly for city/road riding with perhaps some occasional gravel/trails use in Florida. I want something easy to handle. I’d like to be able to ride the bike with low/no assist for exercise purposes as well.
So far I am interested in the Specialized Turbo Vado SL EQ, Velotric T1 ST, Urtopia Carbon 1S, and Evelo Galaxy Lux.
Also, do you have any thoughts on the belt drive bikes with the Evelo “Enviolo Automatiq” shifter like the Urtopia and Evelo models have? Way cool or not so much?
FYI- I learned that the Galaxy Lux can easily have a cadence adjustment device add-on (Bluetooth) mounted to the handlebars so cadence can be adjusted more quickly than using the phone app.
How would you rank these 4 bike models in order from your first choice to last tor someone like me (if price difference was not a consideration) and why?
Thanks!
