Here is a video I saw on Youtube.

To any of the larger people thinking of cycling, I would like to encourage you to do your best, even though there might be challenges along the way.

When I was in highschool I was pretty overweight and would still mountain bike. Specially if you enjoy it. it’s a win win for exercise and fun and they’ll always challenge imo

PS I had neighbor growing up like a 50ish year old lady who would road bike like 70 miles some days and she was well overweight but had fun doing it as she would stop at a town and grab wine or food halfway through her rides etc and make a day out of it

At 6’6” and 360, trying to find a bike was difficult but I got this. Lol

Thanks, ichitan. This is a very useful and inspiring link. I believe someone did ask this question earlier this month and I suggested they take a look at a fat bike. While your video is even better as it comes from someone's personal experience.

I recently built a strong back wheel for my 29 inch mountain bike. This is one more option for people to consider.

Im 5'10 and I weight 260lbs. I used to have all kinds of problems with suspension sag, tires getting a puncture and what not but I quickly realized its all just a matter of setup (proper psi for tires and forks) and good sturdy bronze nipples for the wheelset.

All my problems disappeared
