Hi Allie, welcome to the forum. I like the vintage bikes due to older and simpler designs. New bikes are trying to do the same thing, but with added weight (suspension, braking, etc.) and expense; except where carbon fiber frames are being used for weight reduction and improved performance. I am building a carbon bike, but attempting to mix the new with the old. I do find e-bikes interesting although I do not ride one and do not consider it cycling in the same manner as when cycling to a certain destination accomplished under one's own power.
I have found a few interesting posts regarding maintenance for bikes if you are looking for that type of info, but it depends on what you are riding, or planning on riding.
