Velowave Ranger Fat Tire e-bike
#1
Just got the Velowave Ranger. My first e-bike. Looks great rides good, a little on the heavy side but I like it. After my 3rd ride I was riding approaching a hill pedaling and switched gears and the bike’s rear derailleur snapped off and was destroyed within their first few pedal rotations. What a disappointment. I wish I read the reviews as several other people had the same thing happen.

Sorry to hear that. I would recommend you immediately get in touch with the dealer to get this resolved. Inquire if they have any indication as to why this is occurring on your bike as well as other bikes, and if there is a better replacement part over the one that is already on the bike. There is a possibility that the derailleur hanger is not properly aligned due to improper storage, packing, and/or shipping. That would indicate that the frame has been damaged and it is probable that the same problem will arise again whether you get the same or upgraded part. Did you purchase from a shop or online? Was the bike already assembled, or did you or a shop assemble the bike?
