Hi. Looking for a mountain ebike for £2k or less. I welcome advice on whether to go hard or soft tail, and any recommendations on brands. Currently looking at Cyrushers. Thanks.

Hi Steppenwolf.
I believe that for £2k or less you won't get a quality fully e-bike so a hardtail e-bike is a wiser choice. I suggest taking a look at Cube Acid Hybrid One or a similar Cube model.

I can't recommend any brands, because I'm not familiar with your part of the world. I would go hardtail though. That would likely be a better bang for your buck. Perhaps check out the EMBN channel for research.

You'll really have to search for the deals to find a full suspension at that price.

They are definitely out there though. I saw a Motobecan for $3,000 (sold out)―list price was $7,000.

GT just released a new line of e-bikes. It looks like one of the full suspension models falls in the $3,000 range too.
