Campy 10 speed cassettes
#1
I was recently told that Campy is no longer making 10 speed cassettes. True? I was advised to get one while they are still available for future use.

I cannot seem to find one on campy's website but my shop does still have an estimated stock date, so they might not be selling them on their site. But it looks like you can still get either Centaur or Veloce 10 speed cassettes from third parties.

The warehouse still has 10 speed cassettes on the shelf. Also the Chinese are making ultralight 10 speeds.

The Chinese Ultralight 10 speed cassettes are indeed ultralight and very cheap. If they wear out more rapidly so what? You can buy three of them for one Record cassette.

Thanks for input! Are they making ultralight cassette cogs to fit earlier Campy freehubs as well? I need 8 spd stuff.
Take care,
Jesper

There plenty of 2X10s still around but the popularity of 1Xs and 11 gear cogs, they will become obsolete. 12 gears are starting to break ground on road bikes now. Gravel/MTB have had them.
